In 2019, the American Cancer Society approached me with the task of creating a new logo that reflects a fresh, forward-thinking vision for the organization’s future. The goal was to design a symbol that conveys both the mission of the society and its renewed focus on innovation, research, and hope.

To capture this vision, I incorporated the imagery of glasses, a universal symbol for clarity and insight, into the logo design. This not only represents the idea of “vision” in a literal sense but also emphasizes the organization’s commitment to seeing a future free from cancer.

The final logo combines modern typography with the glasses motif, creating a clean, approachable, and meaningful visual identity. It aligns with the American Cancer Society’s new direction while honoring its legacy of leadership in cancer research and patient care.
